BM-4 Working fluid (concentrated)
Apply to CNC wire cut EDM machine.
Use method:
1. Before first use, please follow the instruction.
2. Before use, please thoroughly clean the cooling system with mixed fluid. The cooling system includes tank, pump, working table, wire-winding part and so on. It is better to open and clean the pump. Please don't rinse with water directly.
3. While mixing, dilute in a ratio of 1 part fluid to 20-25 parts water (If the thickness of workpiece is more than 300mm, the dilution ratio is 1:20 ).
4. When working 3-4 days or the water levels fall, please add new fluid to the tank. Make sure using the mixed fluid.
5. When working a long time, please replace new fluid in time. This can guarantee machining precision.
6. In order to achieve ideal effect, please clean the finished workpiece with mixture like BM-11 detergent. If keep the workpiece for a short time, please dry it. For a long time, please use BM-50 rust-proofing agents.
Important:
1. Ordinary tap water can be used to mix with the working fluid. Don't use the well water, hard water, unclean water or other mixture. The purified water is recommended.
2. Before completion of processing, please use magnet to hold down the workpiece.
3. Don't let machine stop for a long time avoiding being eroded. If stop for a long time, please clean the machine bed and its cooling system, then dry it for spare.
4. If installing filterable water-cycling system or filter in work table and water tank inlet, the working fluid will be much cleaner and the use life will be longer.

It is compose of Chemical Waste, which including some poisonous materials. It will cause pollution.

BM can be used for extra-thickness processing, which more than 500mm thickness.
Regarding the using life of the machine, for the working solution is non-atomized, so there is no corrosion for the machine and the controller, which will prolong the life of the machine. |

We take BM-4 as a sample, One barrel (5L)BM-4 water base working fluid the mixture rate ( solution : water is 1:25), the price is USD30/barrel.The capacity for the tank is around 100L, The working solution can be used for much longer time than the saponification. 1-2 month change once for the tanker. For one machine it will cost USD10-15 per month if you use this kind of working solution.
The guarantee for the working solution is one year. |
One piece of saponification is around 1.5KG. The price is USD9/piece ( the price will increase for price petroleum price will go higher).For one tank you have to put 2-3 pieces per month, which cost around USD18-27/month.If there is any environment protection rules in your country, you have to pay for deal with the discard water.
The quality is influenced by the environment, such as temperature. If in your country the temperature is higher than 25degree, the saponification is easy to go bad. |
